The Foundation Destination Madrid sees in Tourism an asset that belongs to all and is aware of what it might mean to Madrid and its community socially and economically.

The Foundation is born and based on the collaboration of all people and on all that benefits Madrid and its community as well as its tourism promotion.

The Foundation tries to bring some dynamic to the process and arise the feeling that we should all commit ourselves to the purpose of making Madrid a great world tourism destination which is the place where it should be.

We would also like to underline that the patrons do not have any kind of profit or advantage given the altruism of their commitment.

We have also the collaboration and unconditional support of numerous companies, professionals, schools, universities, etc. willing to participate, without any kind of profit, in those activities and programs in which their help is required.

The Foundation Destination Madrid was promoted by a group of people and companies from the tourism business, most of them from the hotel business, aware of the need to promote more and better Madrid and its Community as a tourism destination.
